HAF Summer Holiday Courses

We are delighted to be able to offer free holiday course places this summer for eligible children from our school.
If your child receives benefits-related Free School Meals, then you’re eligible for a free HAF Summer Holiday place!!!!

Free places are only available to children who receive ‘benefits related school meals’.
Applications are now open for parents / carers to apply for a free funded place this summer. The application window will close on Thursday 7th July 2022. The applicants will be checked for eligibility with the local council. Parents and carers will be notified if their child/ren have a place by Wednesday 20th July.
What is HAF?
HAF stands for Holiday Activity and Food and is a free, holiday activity and enrichment programme for disadvantaged children which includes food provision. The programme is funded by a grant to local authorities by the Department for Education based on the number of children eligible in that area.
Each child who attends our HAF holiday provision this summer will receive:
  • A minimum of 4 hours per day of provision
  • Free lunch
  • High quality sports and physical activity coaching
  • Extra enriching activities such as skateboarding, yoga, mental health workshops and much more
  • Guidance and education around nutrition and healthy eating
Children must currently be in year 1 – year 7 to attend our holiday courses. We cannot accept any child who is currently in reception.
