Art Exhibition “My Covid Journey” 8th and 9th July 2021

As you may know, we are planning to hold an art exhibition based on the children’s representation of their "Covid Journey" next Thursday and Friday. I am glad to tell you that this exhibition will still be taking place in the school hall but, due to restrictions still being in operation, we will have to timetable visits for parents and carers of each year group on both of those days.

We have timetabled two sessions for parents/carers to visit, (one on each day) but I am afraid that we will have to stick to those time frames very carefully.

If you are able to visit the exhibition, please come at the allotted time for your child’s year group, remember to bring a mask to wear and please do not stay longer than the 30 minute time slot.

If you are unable to visit the exhibition, we are planning to video it and have this available on the website on Thursday 8th July.

We will only be allowed to have 30 visitors in the hall at any one time, so during busy periods visitors may need to wait before entering. The following times have been allocated to year groups on each day.
08/07/21
1:00-1:30 Nursery
1:30-2:00 Reception classes
2:00-2:30 Y1 classes

5:00-5:30 Y4 classes
5:30-6:00 Y5 classes
6:00-6:30 Y5/6 class

2:00-2:30 Y5 classes
2:30-3:00 Y4 classes
3:30-4:00 Y3 classes
4:00-4:30 Y2 classes

If you wish to buy your child’s art work they will be available to order on the day and payments can be made through ParentPay. Pictures will be framed and cost £8.50 each and any profit, after costs, will go to Friends of Broadstone.

This was the idea of the Chair and Vice Chair of the School Council, as FOB have had so few opportunities to raise money for the children at school over the last 18 months.
Yours sincerely, Mr Langley.
