Changes to our Governing Body

We would like to keep you updated of a few changes within our school governing body recently.

Sarah Newsam, has been our Chair of Governors for many years now, but has recently stepped down from the role to allow for another to step up to what is a very demanding job. Sarah will remain a governor & an important part of our governing body.

Congratulations go to our new Chair, Laura Thomas. Appointed as a Parent Governor a couple years ago, Laura’s professionalism and dedication to the school has been second to none and we know that she will be an invaluable asset to such an important role.

Supporting Laura in her new post will be Helen Drury, our new Vice Chair, taking over from Cindy Davies, our previous Vice Chair, who will also remain part of our governing body.

We would like to thank Sarah & Cindy for their ongoing commitment to our school & congratulate Laura & Helen on their new positions and wish them all the best for the future.
