Changes to Parents Evenings from November 2019
Dear Parents/Carers,
For Parents’ Evenings next week, we are going to organise the evening in a different format in order to reduce waiting times and make appointments run smoothly.
On both evenings, appointments for Nursery and Reception classes will operate from the Nursery building and appointments for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes will take place in the Main Hall.
Entry will be via the Early Years playground door of the Nursery building for Early Years classes and via the Main Hall entrance for Key stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.
Each teacher will be available for their appointments with you at a specified table in the hall and they will also have a selection of children’s books available for you to look through either before or after your appointment.
This should avoid unnecessary waiting times outside classes and movement up and down the corridors if you have appointments that were far apart that have happened on previous parents’ evenings.
Mrs. Rogers and I will be available to direct you to the right table and discuss any issues that you may have. There will also be a Book Sale at the front of the hall on both evenings.
If you are bringing your children, please could you ensure that they stay with you during the time that you are in the hall or Nursery building.
Clubs will run as usual and pick up points from these will be the same.
We are confident that these changes will improve the smooth running of parents evening so please could you be patient with us whilst we establish this new system.
