Children's Mental Health Week 1-7th February

It is the 1st February. The sun is shining and the skies are blue. Now, more poignant than ever, it is Children's Mental Week. We would like to celebrate the resilience of the children at Broadstone Hall Primary school who have made us proud in so many ways over this last year during this pandemic.

A big thank you to Kerry for sorting the Zoom Disco on Friday! If you were able to join in, thank-you for your efforts; 100 + of the school community were present. We will look at putting additional places on the zoom for next week as not everybody could get on!

The theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is Express Yourself.

Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. It is about finding a way to show who you are, and how you see the world, that can help you feel good about yourself.

As parents and carers, you play an important role in your child’s mental health. Check out our free resources at

This has some really nice activities too, that can be used for remote learning.

We will be sending over more ideas and activites to explore this week

Thank-you
