Lunchtime meal ordering
We are having an issue with children getting upset at lunchtime and refusing to eat what has been selected for them by their parent or by default (jacket potato with cheese) if the parent hasn’t ordered.
As a short-term solution, we have asked all teachers to help any children who have not made a menu selection on Lunchhound in class in the morning. Please be reassured your child will never go without a meal. However, this does distract from the start of the school day so if this could please be done at home, this would be ideal.
Additionally, if you could remind your child daily of what has been ordered for them (several children are not liking their parents choices and wanting to change their preference once at the front of queue which is not possible) this would avoid delays, wastage and tears at lunch time!
