Thank-you to all that took part in the Lantern Parade 11/11/18

Thank you to all the children and parents who took part in the Lantern Parade on 11/11/18.

The Parade started at Stockport Market and moved through the streets of Stockport, ending up at the Art Gallery and the Cenotaph.

A beacon was lit by the descendants of two Stockport soldiers who received the Victoria Cross for bravery during World War One.

30 children made and carried lanterns for Broadstone Hall Primary School and they did a great job.

There is also a WW1 Art Exhibition now on display until February 2019, that many more of our pupils contributed to.
