Next week it is Bike to School Week and it’s time for the children to get their bikes ready for the event!

If you are planning on cycling during the week, please be encouraged to do a complete check of your bikes before the first day of the event. Like any machine, a bicycle will work better and last longer if it’s cared for properly.

Bike to School Week is a week-long event designed to showcase the benefits of cycling to school across the UK.

Bike to School Week is a great opportunity to promote the positive impact that an active lifestyle can have on pupils' wellbeing and health. It's free, there's no need to register, and it's a fantastic way to get warmed up ready for better weather in the spring.

During Bike to School Week we will be asking not only the teachers to encourage pupils, but parents and staff to cycle to school too.
