Dental trauma in children & how to act
We have been recently approached by a Consultant Orthodontist; a specialist hospital dentist in child dental and facial growth and development, about the appropriate management of dental trauma for children.
She has kindly pointed us in the direction of a very informative and useful app for parents to have in their possession should their child be unfortunate enough to suffer dental trauma.
Unfortunately, as you know in primary schools, this can be relatively common.

These guidelines only relate to permanent teeth (adult teeth) not baby teeth.
They are also not instead of seeing a dentist but just how to manage the immediate and critical situation, following which the dentist must be seen.
