HAF Courses - A Summer of Fun with the Holiday Activity and Food Programme

Activities and food over the holidays. have fun, keep fit and eat well!

You can now enrol your child in Stockport’s free summer activity programme, and give them a summer filled with fun activities and great food.
Provided as part of the government’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme being delivered across Stockport, there are FREE places on the programme available for children and young people who receive means-tested free school meals.
Your child will be able to access up to 16 sessions that are 4 hours long, with some clubs offering longer sessions. This includes specific provision for children with SEND or additional needs – and all at no cost to you. The sessions will include a variety of fun activities, including sports, music, arts and other exciting opportunities to learn and develop skills, alongside a nutritious meal each day.

Stockport Council is working with local schools, voluntary and community organisations, and childcare providers to provide the HAF programme. The free places are funded by the Department for Education. Visit the government website (gov.uk) for more information on the national programme
