THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAR @ Parents Evening is back!
The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived & will be open at the back of the Hall on Parents Evenings the 5th & 6th October (where it will be manned by FOB volunteers ;-)
The children will be going to to go to look at the books at their leisure the next couple of days with their teachers.
As much as we want to encourage reading & a love of books, we are fully aware that in the current economic climate, not everyone will have the disposable cash to be buying books so we are not asking children to write a "Wish List" as this only adds undue pressure.
The children have been reminded they might not always get what they want this time.
However, saying that, a large percentage of the profit earnt from the Scholastic Book Fair is put back into funds for the school to buy books for our Library.
