Computing
Computers are now part of everyday life. For most of us, technology is essential to our lives, at home and at work. ‘Computational thinking’ is a skill children at Broadstone Hall must be taught if they are to be ready for the workplace and able to participate effectively in this digital world.
At Broadstone Hall, we believe that equipping our students with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world safely is paramount. Throughout the academic year, online safety is woven into both our PSHE and computing curriculum. This continuous and integrated approach ensures that children regularly engage with crucial topics such as online privacy, responsible digital citizenship, cyberbullying prevention, and identifying misinformation. We are committed to fostering a secure and informed online experience for all our pupils, recognising that digital literacy and safety are indispensable life skills in today's interconnected society.
